OVERVIEW

Full-day private birding in the Mindo cloud forest: hummingbird gardens, a riverside walk for Torrent Duck & (seasonal) quetzals, and a toucan & tanager station—with optional hand-feeding at authorized feeders. Small group, local bilingual guide, human pace.

08:00 – Pick-up in Quito

drive to Maraksacha Cloud Forest.

11:00 – Alambi

hummingbird gardens + riverside walk (searching for Torrent Duck and quetzals).

13:00 – Guaycapi Restaurant (Mindo)

lunch + hummingbird station (various species) and nearby birding.

15:00 – Las Cotingas (Mindo)

Toucan & Tanager Station + optional hand-feeding at the feeders (respectful handling).

13:30 – Lunch

Lunch at a local restaurant with an optional visit to an observation canopy tower

17:00 – Return to Quito.

Return to Quito.
